Termites

Less Is More EP

Label: Universal Music Release Date: 07/11/2005

11720
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay November 11th, 2005

All hail the Termites, the shiny, happy face of all things 'indie'.

In their own parallel universe, they could quite easily be the reincarnation of Blur that would undoubtedly make Graham Coxon want to rejoin his former band, as 'Less Is More' sounds like 'Popscene' revisited while 'Lighten The Load' feels like the tenth anniversary of_ 'For Tomorrow'_ if things hadn't turned out quite as planned. Which they didn't.

Still, the Termites' frantic pop and skewered melodies shouldn't be scoffed at, as they've quite obviously mastered both the arts of writing and holding a tune, which is no mean feat in this day and age.
