Let's face it Blink 182 are never gonna be the thinking mans favourite band. In fact, if you are a thinking man, stop reading this right now and listen to your Pink Floyd records!
If, like me, you need a release from the constant barrage of zeitgeist self pity'n'angst and just wanna hear two idiots, laughing about fart jokes, then my friends, the Blink boys are back and better than ever. On this tale of lost summer love, Blink 182 sound like a band at the top of their form, in a whats-my-age-again meets dammit fashion. This is sure to have a million heart-broken teens remeniscing on times gone by. Mark Hoppus even manages to pull off broken love in a way that avoids the Destiny's Child-esque whining when he yearns 'And if I ever got another chance, I'd still ask her to dance'.
This is a massive anthem for the upcoming summer, it's pure pop-perfection! It's not big, it's not clever but it is however, very bloody good.
