The late 90’s saw the California-formed trio
Blink 182 unleashed upon the underground punk scene with a line-up or comprising of co-frontpeople Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and drummer Scott Raynor. This was as it remained through three albums (
Buddha (1994),
Cheshire Cat (1995) and
Dude Ranch (1997)) until, prior to the release of the band’s most commercially successful venture to date and first serious attack on the mainstream music charts,
Enema Of The State (1999), Raynor was replaced with Travis Barker.
1999 saw the pop-punk trio tackle the world, with chart hits across the globe such as ‘All The Small Things’ and ‘What’s My Name Again’. This is a success that has continued throughout 2001 and is set to stick around for some time, with the undeniable fortune of late-2001 single release ‘The Rock Show’, taken from the album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.
