Very very funny stuff from a bloke with a cheap keyboard and a slightly twisted sense of humour. Think Bloodhound Gang meets Kid With Man Head in a music lesson at a school which hasn't bought new instruments for ten years. Think those funny songs that Adam and Joe used to do, only with lyrics by someone who's been operated on by Hannibal Lecter. Think Weird Al Yankovic swapping brains with Joey Ramone, but only being able to express himself in the cheesiest way he can think of. Then add some musical diversity ("I Bit William Shatner" is a barbershop masterpiece), a couple of really quite silly bits ("Here comes a walrus... Now he's dead."), and a real proper punk song with attitude and everything (but still played on the cheap keyboard), and you've got Sumophobia.
"I Don't Give a Shit About Your Website" is an angry attack on twats with Geocities websites, funny because it's true. "Carbonated Hamsters" is probably about something, I'm not sure, but it's funny anyway. "Let's Break Some Furniture" is an anthem for kids who like smashing stuff up when they're bored. "Hair On The Soap" gets extra points for name-checking the Pope. If you're in the right mood, this stuff is hilarious. And with 18 tracks in 35 minutes, it's over long before it gets boring. Except "Monotony", but I think that's the point.
