The Arcs' debut album, 'Yours, Dreamily' is released on Nonesuch Records. The Arcs are a supergroup consisting of Dan Auerbach (Black Keys), Homer Steinweiss, NIck Movshon and Leon MIchels (Menahan Street Band), Richard Swift (The Shins) and guesting on this album Kenny Vaughan and Mariachi Flor de Toloache. This is the band's debut album, released swiftly after the band launched in spring of this year and recorded in L.A's The Sound Factory and Manhattan's Electric Lady. Stripped down but somehow still 'big' with raw garage drums, pumping keyboards and creeping guitar riffs. Prayerful organ grooves will save your rock'n'roll soul. Big and bombastic without sinning in the world of too many layers. Smidgeons of ska-bop, smudgings of country-rock and a skedaddling of garage-rock. This album has the sounds of a jukebox in the most kick-arse bar in Texas.
