New and unheard 13 Track CD and 12" from the Aphex Twin. There will only be limited copies on release date apparently so will be worth pre ordering in any of our shops or on line. So as some expected and hot on the heels of 'Syro' comes the natty titled 'Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt 2' in all it's blacked out minimal glory. Kicking off with the spy movie funk of 'diskhat ALL preparedlmixed' the clue is definitely in the release's title. Mr James has got hold of some seriously good drums and all manner of physical instruments to create thirteen tracks of sublime Aphexness that reach parts he's never really been to before in such detail. Drum rolls, bells, pianos and all manner of percussion get worked out and retuned to wonderful effect. It still sounds like something only he could do but yet again he's raises the bar real high.
