Snow Ghosts drop their debut album, 'A Small Murmuration'. The collaborative project between Ross Tones, AKA Throwing Snow, and Augustus Ghost debuted two years ago on Black Acre with the 'Lost At Sea' EP, which paired the latter's vocals with Tones' knack for dramatic bass music production. The first Snow Ghosts full-length comes through fabric's label Houndstooth. The music itself is brooding and at times imposing, yet sweepingly majestic throughout - Augustus Ghost's rich vocals balance perfectly on Throwing Snow's sombre sonic creations, as hints of industry and mechanism are married with the organic, natural world. Sounding like the dreamchild of Massive Attack, Bjork, Clubroot and Zola Jesus, and including an appearance by man-of-the-moment Blue Daisy, their music is brooding and at times imposing, yet sweepingly majestic throughout.
