‘All of the Lights’, Kanye West’s latest single starts off with a captivating little jingle which hooks the listeners straight away, which sets the immense production for the rest of the song. Helped by Rihanna’s powerful vocals on the chorus this song just fills your body with adrenaline and passion. Kanye’s verses throughout the song aren’t the best compared to his intelligent play on words on previous albums however, his Chicago accent just keeps you interested in the song and at least he isn’t using auto tune which I feel is wasted on such as brilliant rapper . The assembly of the song is just simply remarkable. The trumpets build up the atmosphere for a thrilling, heart pumping song. Kid Cudi makes a pointless vocal appearance towards the end of the song which is shame because; the track would be even more of a smash if he dropped a fantastic verse. Overall, the chorus really makes this song another huge hit for Kanye to add to his growing collection, mainly due to Rihanna’s commanding vocals on the chorus along with Kanye West’s production which intertwine perfectly. ‘All of The Lights’ is one of many admirable songs on Kanye’s album ‘My Twisted Dark Fantasy’, which is out now.
