Fountains Of Wayne are to play a one-off London show at Islington Academy on Aug 23rd. This is in addition to their appearence on the NME stage at V2004.
New single, the Paul Simon-tastic 'Hey Julie', is released the same day - that's Aug 23rd, in case you weren't paying attention.
They're also to be included on a charity compilation CD compiled by They Might Be Giants' John Flansburgh. Entitled 'Future Soundtrack For America' and released on Aug 10th in the USA on indie label Barsuk, proceeds go to MoveOn.org and similar organisations. FoW are contributing a new version of 'Everything's Ruined', the original of which can be found on their debut, self-titled album.
