Hamell On Trial: British Sample Trial Period
lparker by Laurie Parker April 24th, 2001

After a steady recovery from a bad car accident a year ago, acoustic punk performer Edward Hamell of Hamell On Trial is ready to get going again. He's making a brief appearance in the UK to promote his album "Choochtown," well-received in Britain by critics and fans. He's just returned from touring with Ani DiFranco and has a 5-star Record of the Month review in "Uncut" magazine--this guy's got the most cutting, relevant style you'll see around, with plenty of attitude to go with it. Catch him if you can:

Friday May 4th-The Mean Fiddler, London  w/ Rev. Horton Heat. Call for times.

Sunday May 6th- Killkenny Festival- Ireland

Tuesday May 8th- Showcase @ Sanctuary Music Group. Private affair, London

Wednesday May 9th- Upstairs At The Garage, London. Hamell headlines. Call for times.
