Run! Megadeth! Mega!
-Raz- by Raziq Rauf May 16th, 2006

The mighty, millions-upon-millions-selling Megadeth have signed to the home of heavy metal, Roadrunner Records.

A Roadrunner representative claims that the label is "proud to be working with one of the chief architects of modern hard rock and metal". Amen to that.

Dave Mustaine (pictured), lead singer, lead guitarist and general Heavy Metal God said: "It is exciting to be some place you are respected, understood and appreciated."

He could have just come and hung out with me and Peter White! We respect, understand and, above all, appreciate Megadeaf (sic).

The metallers have begun working on their as-yet-untitled Roadrunner debut and Mr Mustaine is co-producing with Jeff Balding, who was in control on 2004's The System Has Failed. Mr Mustaine is also in the process of finalising the lineup for Megadeth's forthcoming ‘Gigantour 2’ festival tour of the US. There are no known dates in the UK. This makes me sad.
