Frank Black Is Back! Back! Back!
tom_edwards by Tom Edwards August 1st, 2003
Ex-Pixies man debuts new album on extensive UK tour.

The legend formerly known as Black Francis returns to the UK in September, with a new album and tour to boot. The album, 'Show Me Your Tears', is released on 8th September, with a single, 'Everything Is New', preceeding its release on 4th August.

The album's track listing is as follows;

1. Manitoba
2. This Old Heartache
3. Massif Centrale
4. Goodbye Lorraine
5. My Favorite Kiss
6. Horrible Day
7. New House Of The Pope
8. The Snake/Nadine/Coastline
9. When Will Happiness Find Me Again?
10. Everything Is New
11. Jaina Blues

Black will then take to the road with his band, embarking on a fairly comprehensive tour of the UK's mid-sized venues. A second single, 'Nadine', will coincide with this on 29th September.

If that wasn't enough already, Cooking Vinyl are also re-issuing Black's 1998 album, 'Frank Black And The Catholics', on October 6th.

DiScuss: Does Frank's solo stuff tickle your tastebuds? Or does Kim Deal have the monopoly on the post-Pixies creative juices? And what the bloody hell is their guitarist upto, anyway?
