Ending weeks of speculation, Vex Red's drummer and keyboard/bassist, Ben & Keith, announced on 18th Febuary 2003 that lead singer Terry had left the band.
Speaking to the fans on the message board, Keith (aka Keef) had this to say..
"The reason I have been silent for so long is because I havn't known where we stand or what really to say. I was a bit upset. Terry has been unhappy for some time. He wanted to rest Vex for a while and work on a side project. This side project has become so serious now that he doesn't want to string us along anymore, and has left the band for now. The four of us are carrying on, although no decision has been made to whether we will call ourselves Vex Red. I wish Terry the very best."
The webmaster of vexred.com had this to say:
"Thanks for your continued support and we wish we could of done more to save your favourite band. Stay strong and wait for better days.."
Although they are preparing an official press release, we thought it best if you heard it here first.
Stay tuned for the outcome and rest assured whatever projects the boys continue, we will be here to support them.
