Dear DiS,
I couldn't help but notice that you have something of a penchant for slightly sarcastic and occasionally offensive news coverage. Whilst this may be humorous in some cases, I'm a little sick of reading Mike Diver's anecdotes and Colin Roberts' side comments. I think I speak for everyone that reads Drowned in Sound when I ask you to just give us the facts, with no comments about anything but music. You're not comedians, generally, you're idiots.

Hi Anonymous. I appreciate your concerns regarding our news coverage. I do, however, believe that our approach not only presents the facts, but entertains to an extent too. What's better than learning and laughing at the same time? I'd also like to point out that Mike Diver is certainly NOT an idiot.
