NOFX: War on Errorism
sean by Sean Adams January 13th, 2003
The hardworking and drinking godfathers of the sk8-Punk scene, look set to release a DVD, EP and new album on the Fat ones label in 2003...

Punkers with a capitol P, NOFX, have announced details of their release schedule for 2003. There's an album 'The War on Errorism' on May 6th, the 'Ten Years of Fucking Up' DVD (sounds rather cut'n'paste underground don't it?!) and an EP titled 'Regaiing Unconsiousness' on March 25th.

Interestingly, these will come out on Fat Wreck Chords, run by ranty-singer-man Fat Mike. This probablyy don't sound strange, seeing as he's run the label, known for the likes of Dillinger Four, Propagandhi, Sick of it All and The Atari's for 13 years now. But this will be the first time he releases his own band on his own label - which is an imprint of Epitaph who usually release the bands stuff.

On their official website, Fat Mike has this to say:
"Subsequent releases will be put out on different labels determined by bowling scores at the DIY bowling tourney in Vegas. Some song titles include, 'The Irrationality of Rationality', 'The Separation of Church and Skate', and 'Franco Un-American'."

Check out some of the other bands on Fat Wreck here where there's a whole bunch of free mp3s.

DiScuss: Will the new album be better than 97s trumpets a-blazin, party album 'So Long And Thanks For All the Shoes'? NOFX or Offspring? Are they sexist or genius? Will the kidz who punk today, work as accountants for Bush tomorrow? How much did they rawk at Reading last year? What do you make of Fat Mikes punkvoter.com?
