Well, well, well. At DiS, rather than giving you all £5 for Christmas and filling your stockings with unwanted promos, we've decided to throw a party and make you all pay to get in. In fairness though, we're pretty sure you're going to want to come and celebrate the birth of little baby Jesus by listening to some music, dancing, getting drunk and being sick on Chalk Farm Road.
For the upstairs area, we've decided to pass the baton of responsiblity on to two of our most beloved message board users, scarf-wearing hippy prole-art-threat and northern trains enthusiast Bamos. They've picked some bands for the evening and agreed to DJ in their own inimitable style:
Bomb Factory
It's art punk rock. It's loud; it's spoken word, apoplectic ranting, yelping and screaming to driving rhythms and furious guitars. It's the sound of now and very possibly tomorrow as well. (DiS profile)
The Nudes
They used to be called The Smoke, they're a boiseterous West London three-piece and they're mates with the splendid Larrikin Love. (myspace | DiS profile)
