Titled '8 Miles' the film is a 'semi-autobiographical account of Eminem's rise to stardom' (although which half is true is up to you to decide!) Set for release in the US on November 8, the film also stars Brittany Murphy (Riding in Cars with Boys & Cherry Falls), Mekhi Phifer (Clockers & I Still Know What You Did Last Summer) & Eminems' love interest, Kim Basinger (virtually every movie from the early 80's until 1990 but recommendations are 9 1/2 Weeks & My Stepmother Is An Alien) among others.
The soundtrack for the movie features Eminem (as well as Kid Rock, Dr Dre, Jay-Z & Xzibit who appears in the movie) and a new single, 'Lose Yourself', is to be released in the near future (although an exact release date is unknown).
The film is currently unrated but I wouldn't expect it to be anything less then a 15.
