A few weeks ago, Nils Frahm released Spaces, a mind-boggling 'live album' which sounds like no other live album you've ever heard. He's essentially used a series of live recordings to make what sounds like a - for want of a better term - 'proper album'. It's so good in fact, it came in at number 19 in our albums of the year list.
He was in town a few weeks ago to play a special electronic night with Erased Tapes label-mate Olafur Arnalds, so we sat down for a coffee with the ridiculously talented pair to discuss their favourite 'spaces' to record and perform in.
