Kurt Vile to release new EP in November, download free track
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater September 6th, 2011

Kurt Vile's Smoke Ring For My Halo is undoubtedly an exquisite record, and arguably one of the best of the year so far. That's why it's good news that there has been another release announced, this time a 6-track EP, entitled So Outta Reach. Tracklisting below:

  1. The Creature
  2. It's Alright
  3. Life's A Beach
  4. Laughing Stock
  5. Downbound Train
  6. (so outta reach)

So Outta Reach will be released through Matador on November 7, which is the same day a deluxe edition of the aforementioned full-length will be released. The six tracks were recorded during the Smoke Ring sessions, and one of them, 'Downbown Train', is a Bruce Springsteen Cover, just in case you were wondering.

Another one of them, 'The Creature', is available to download from Matador entirely for free, in 193k mp3. Do that directly by clicking here. Mr Vile also has three upcoming UK shows. They are listed below for your convenience.

September:
6 - Glasgow, Stereo
7 - Bristol, The Fleece
8 - London, The Scala
