Kaiser Chiefs are b-buh-b-back!
Yesterday, BBC Radio1's Zane Lowe premiered the brand new track from Leeds' (Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!), finest peddlers of cheeky indie pop, Kaiser Chiefs. 'Little Shocks' is a different beast to a lot of the Kaisers stuff that came before it, shuffling somewhere between Maximo Park's bubbling key-throbs and Oasis' guitar snarls (that solo is a bit Seahorses innit?). In fact, it sounds a little like the live version of 'Everyday I Love You Less and Less' and perhaps signals a (welcome) departure from their irritating-to-many trademark summer-anthem uh-uh-uhs and oh-ohs.
Have a listen to 'Little Shocks' for yourselves:
The band also revealed details of a show at Electric Ballroom over on their Twitter @kaiser_chiefs and we'd presume there's album news to follow at some point.
