Standon Calling join in festival goodness with Battles, Saul Williams + more
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater March 16th, 2011

The first bunch of bands, acts and artists to play the 2011 edition of Standon Calling Festival have just been announced. Well, like yesterday, which is now enough for me. As ever there is probably a band or two in the list you might fancy seeing. They are all listed below, in rough order of importance.

Spiritualized
Battles
Penguin Cafe
John Cooper Clarke
Saul Williams
Errors
Caravan Palace
The Correspondents
Born Ruffians
Trophy Wife
Malachai
Brassroots
Raghu Digit
Various Cruelties
Silver Moths
Tripwires
Maddox

This year's festival runs from 11-14 August at Standon Lordship in Hertfordshire. That's about it really. There'll be more artists announced soon enough I'm sure, but in the meantime go to the official website for more relevant information, should you need it.
