With their newest album False Priest on the way, of Montreal have revealed that there's another release in the pipeline already, an EP. It already has a title, too, and it's called The Controller Sphere and is apparently the final part in the trilogy of releases which includes Skeletal Lamping and the forthcoming False Priest.
Band lynchpin Kevin Barnes told Consequence Of Sound.
"There's three songs that we were initially going to put on 'False Priest' that we decided to cut at the last second. I haven't decided which I want to put on there" he continued "but there's a lot of material to choose from."
It'll hopefully be released on Spring next year. In the meantime, have yourself a gander at their new video for 'Coquet Coquette' which is slightly, but not overly, barbaric.
That video was directed by Jason Miller. False Priest comes out on September 13 through Polyvinyl.
