Some more bands have been announced for this year's Iceland Airwaves festival. There are a ton of great organisations/labels and whatevers with stages so expectations are reasonably high. It's going to be a good one. It can't not be. Really (via This Is Fake DIY).
Anyway, below is a list of bands who will play the festival in October:
Chateau Marmont, Gablé, Mondkopf, James Blake, Rolo Tomassi, Ramadanman, Teeth, Wild Geese, Yunioshi, Walls, Neon Indian, Yuni in Taxco, Dominique Young Unique, Angel Deradoorian, Timber Timbre, Diamond Rings, Film, Nive Nilsen, Angist, Apparat Organ Quartet, Benny Crespo's Gang, Deep Jimi and The Zep Creams,Feldberg, Hafdís Huld, Kimono, Klink, Ólafur Arnalds, Sometime, Jónas Sigurðsson, Króna, Foreign Monkeys and Wisteria.
I'd say that's pretty stellar. Dirty Projectors woman, Ólafur Arnalds, James Blake and Neon Indian all representing some of our favourite artists at present. So yeah. The festival runs from October 13-17 in Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. As mentioned before, it will be brilliant. You can get tickets for it, as well as general information on what is going on from here.
