Listen: Download Atlas Sound bootleg
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater January 4th, 2010

Hello, and a Happy New Year to all and sundry, haters, lovers, players and funksters alike. Just in case you haven't celebrated QUITE hard enough over the last few weeks, we've got a little something else to jolly-in the arrival of a new year and a new decade, in the form of various musical downloads.

We've a 'bootleg' of Bradford Cox's Atlas Sound playing a show on New Year's Eve last year, thanks to the people at Southern Shelter. It's not a PROPER bootleg, mind, because it's been endorsed by 4AD, Atlas Sound's record label, so don't go accusing us of underhand dealings, y'hear?

The ten-track set was recorded at 40 Watt Club in Athens, Georgia and features the following tracks in the following order:

  1. When I Get Home
  2. The Screens
  3. Coffin Trick
  4. Criminals
  5. My Halo
  6. Walkabout
  7. Sheila
  8. Kid Klimax
  9. Attic Lights
  10. What Goes On

Get all of the tracks from here, individually, or in one of those neat-o ZIP file type things, you know those ones.

Orrrrrrrrr/and listen to 'Attic Lights' below, which we've embedded on SoundCloud to stream, like. It's about a billion minutes long, too. Bonus time. You should REALLY listen to it.
