Sheffield Superstars Arctic Monkeys have made good on their promise to release their new album before the Leeds and Reading festivals.

They've done it with three days to spare, with the as-yet-untitled album being released on Monday August 24, the week of the dual festivals.

The record was produced by Queens Of The Stoneage, Kyuss and Desert Sessions member Josh Homme and the award-winning James Ford, who has worked with Klaxons, Test Icicles and most recently with Peaches for I Feel Cream. Expect some heavy riffage then?
