Here's a selection of videos we've seen and liked lately for you to watch over your Monday lunch break.
Fleet Foxes
Despite what you woulda thought was end of year media overkill, you still can't moved for all things Fleet Foxes. They're up for a heap more awards and their album is at number three in the album charts. We've just been sent a new animated video for 'Mykonos', directed by Sean Pecknold (brother of Fleet Foxes’ singer/songwriter Robin Pecknold) and thought we'd share it.

Antony & the Johnsons
His new album Crying Light is out now. The email about this video reads thus:
"Antony asked his friends the Wachowski Brothers to work with him on a video for his new single "Epilepsy is Dancing". They in turn invited painters Tino Rodriguez and Virgo Paradiso to create costumes and a mystical environment and choreographer Sean Dorsey and his dancers to bring the dream sequence to life. Antony's artistic partner Johanna Constantine stars as herself in the role of "Deer Monster". The video was lit and shot by the up-and-coming directors of photography, Chris Blasingame and Banker White, and produced by Jim Jerome. The production team collectively named themselves AFAS. Please enjoy the fruits of their San Francisco art party."
Cut Off Your Hands
DiS went a little bits nuts when we discovered this bunch of Kiwis a couple of years ago. They've since signed to Frenchkiss, toured the world, made a their forthcoming album with Mister/Saint Bernard Butler and most recently they premièred this new video over on popular American website Pitchfork, have a looksie:
La Roux
She's hyped to fuck. DiS is all for history lessons and a silly hair do but we seem to be in a media minority of not being in awe of this wafty pop. What do you think?
The Kills
Hurrah, The Kills are releasing my favourite track from Midnight Boom. The Black Balloon EP will be out on 23rd March 2009 via Domino.
Loney Dear
We're rather liking the forthcoming Loney Dear album (Dear John released March 2nd via Regal Recordings). Have a gander at the video for the first single from it:
DiScuss: We've shared some of our recent favourites so now tell us what videos and downloads have you been watching/listening to and loving?
