**Record producer Arthur Baker is set to release a collection of his
favourite tracks later this year through Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records.**
The as-yet-unnamed compilation will include 'Confusion' by New Order as well as
reworking of Kraftwerk's 'Trans Europe Express' by Afrika Bambaataa and Soul
Sonic Force.
Baker has also finished his solo album 'The One That Got Away', which
includes feature guest apperances from members of Ash, Primal Scream, Mogwai and
New Order.
Baker when describing the record said "It's danceable, it's punk, there's a
sort of punky jazz thing. If you like Primal Scream, Death In Vegas and that
kind of stuff, you'll like this."
The compilation will be released in the summer, while 'The One That Got Away'
has been held back until the autumn.
