Bringing together for the first time the best of the new breed of high powered Rock & Roll bands and dirty electronic acts emerging from the UK/USA scenes, the event will coincide with the release of a new Sonic Mook Experiment compilation, 'Future Rock & Roll' on Mute's Blast First label in June.
The new compilation album, released on CD and double vinyl, is the follow up to last year's Sonic Mook collection on Hub Records and is to feature 25 tracks from some of the finest new bands around, many for the first time on CD. It will include tracks from the likes of The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Liars, The Toes, The Beatings, The Parkinsons, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Zongamin, National Bandit and The Buff Medways.
Sean McClusky's Sonic Mook Experiment presents London's only major Future Rock & Roll event at the ICA on London's Mall, on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June 2002.
