Make as many 'dog on string' jokes as you like, but The Levellers have sold more silver, gold and platinum albums than any other 90s artist in the UK and had hit singles 'What a Beautiful Day' 'Just the One' and 'One Way', remember?
Their new record deal is to release new material back under the Hag Records imprint (which released their original material from 1988-90 before signing a deal with China Records) including their next single and 7th studio album out in late August and September respectivly.
Known to be hard-working live band, The Levellers are embarking on a low-key set of both electric "Levellers" and acoustic "Drunk In Public" live dates throughout May and June. The band are also planning The Green Blade Fayre, their own 2- day Festival on September the 7th & 8th in Newnham Park, near Plymouth - full details are still being sorted out.
