The band, The Sick Anchors is the new musical project featuring Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite, Aidan Moffat from Arab Strap, and a multi-instrumentalist and keyboard player-for-hire named Sheepy.
Their first release, as revealed on the official Mogwai website will be a self-titled EP of cover versions, to be released on the 22nd April via a new label called Lost Dog Recordings.
It will feature cover versions of Atomic Kitten's 'Whole Again', The Fall's 'Bill Is Dead' and The Mills Brothers' 'You Always Hurt The One You Love'.
