After many experienced download problems on the launch of new Nine Inch Nails album Ghosts I – IV’s yesterday, it seems the release has proved popular, the $300 ultra-deluxe ltd edition package already selling out.
2,500 editions of the package, pictured above, were made available. Each includes a four-LP set of each of the first four volumes of Ghosts on 180 gram vinyl as well as three fancy books containing two audio CDs, remixable session files for all 36 of the release’s tracks and other exclusive extras (all signed by Trent Reznor).
So, 2,500 x $300 = $750,000, (roughly £377,441). Not a bad haul for Reznor, and that’s only the most expensive of the options available. Find others here, or, if you prefer, read the story we ran yesterday.
