Spiritualized announce album details, Dot-to-Dot appearance
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay February 22nd, 2008
Spiritualized are back with their new 18-track opus Songs In A&E. Released on Monday 19th May via Jason Pierce's own Spaceman Records imprint, it will be preceded by a single, 'Soul On Fire' a week earlier.

The album is said to have been influenced by a serious illness which Pierce incurred back in 2005 during the initial stages of writing the album, its sound said to be "a different emotional direction to previous Spiritualized releases."

The full tracklisting is as follows:-

'Harmony 1'
'Sweet Talk'
'Death Take Your Fiddle'
'I Gotta Fire'
'Soul on Fire'
'Harmony 2'
'Sitting on Fire'
'Yeah Yeah'
'You Lie You Cheat'
'Harmony 3'
'Baby I'm Just a Fool'
'Don't Hold Me Close'
'Harmony 4'
'The Waves Crash In'
'Harmony 5'
'Borrowed Your Gun'
'Harmony 6'
'Goodnight Goodnight'

Spiritualized have also confirmed their appearance - the first band to do so - at this year's Dot-To-Dot Festival in May. They will be appearing in Bristol on Saturday 24th May and Nottingham on Sunday 25th. Other confirmed May dates to coincide with Songs In A&E are...

May
18 Cambridge Junction
19 Sheffield Plug
20 London Koko
29 Belfast Mandela Hall
