Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince will continue their rise back to relevance as The Kills return to UK live stages ahead of the release of a new album.
And, lo, from that new album comes a single, the modestly named ‘Cheap and Cheerful’ arriving on the 3rd of March. You can see the video for it below, but first details of those live shows, all of which take place in cinemas:

Cinemas? New album Midnight Boom is inspired, apparently, by “The black horses in the desert in El Topo, drummer boy drumming in Tin Drum, the kids riding go-carts outside the house in Benjamin Smoke by Jem Cohen, Gena Rowlands throwing a fit in Women in Revolt by Cassavettes, the bright colours in Rize by Chappelle”. Sense?
Expect the new full-length to arrive shortly after the shows end, on the 18th of March. Details here; video below:
