The Cooper Temple Tour

About 14months, ago back when Drownedinsound had just launched we tipped a band called The Cooper Temple Clause. It only seems like yesterday but it wasn't. On Monday they played a show at the Scala, in London. It was a show which our reporter on the scene (me) can only describe as 'an attack on various emotions using styles and patterns from days gone by - blobs of mod, lumps of punk, slices of sleazy rock'n'roll, some electronica played using the do-not-tap:SMASH philosophy, ballads, syrupy vocals, gritty screams, blistering whitenoise and little layers of twinkles - perfect for ruffling your hair into the same look as your favourite cooper trooper!'

They're taking that electic sound on a mission around the UK in January and February 2002 to promote their debut album 'See this through and leave' released 4th February...

Tour support is to be announced. The band play a warm-up, pre-xmas, home-coming gig on Wednesday 19th @ the Fez Club in Reading. The gig will be filmed for MTV for broadcast at a later date.
