Former Fat Cat signings No Age have inked a deal with legendary Seattle label Sub Pop.
The warm fog of praise surrounding recent singles compilation Weirdo Rippers - review - has elevated their profile considerably since the band formed from the ashes of Wives.
Leaders of the LA 'scene' - made official by NME recognition a couple of weeks back - based around downtown venue the Smell, Randy Randall and Dean Spunt join the likes of CSS and Iron & Wine.
The band are currently working on their new album, with a release date pencilled in for early next year.
