Montreal's The Besnard Lakes are to release a new slab o' 12" wax next month, entitled 'Casino Nanaimo'.
The band - whose ...Are The Dark Horse is nominated for this year's Polaris Prize in Canada (like the Mercury, y'dig?) - have also been beavering away at video-making. A film for the track 'For Agent 13', from the aforementioned LP, can be seen by clicking here.
B-side? Oh go on then - the new release, available from September 10 via Jagjaguwar - comes backed by a version of live favourite 'Devastation'. It is proper good.
