I Need Some Therapy?
rubbafish by Colin Weston July 17th, 2001
Irish rock band Therapy? are to release their first single in 3 years.

Despite releasing 2 albums since that time (Suicide Pact, You First & So Much For The Ten Year Plan), this is to be their first single since they released 'Lonely Cryin' Only' back in 1998.

Titled 'Gimme Back My Brain', it is set for release on August 6th on Ark21 Records and is to be a limited edition release on CD and 7". This is to be the bands first single release of their forthcoming album, 'Shameless' (produced by Jack Endino), which is to be released in mid September this year.

The new single is full of suprises, with the b-sides being cover versions of some of Therapy?s' favourite bands. These include The Ramones, Black Flag... and ABBA. Both the vinyl and CD have different b-sides.

The track listings are as follows :-

7" vinyl

1. Gimme Back My Brain
2. Gimme Therapy (new Therapy track)
3. Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment (The Ramones cover)
4. Gimme Gimme Gimme (Black Flag cover)

CD single

1. Gimme Back My Brain
2. Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! [A Man After Midnight] (Abba cover)
3. Gimme Danger (Iggy and the Stooges cover)
4. Gimme Nyquil All Night Long (EC8OR cover)
