On 23rd August 2004, ‘Apocalypse Please’ will come out as a download only single. The track was recorded live at Glastonbury and looks set to be even more popular than ‘Stockholm Syndrome’, which broke all records, getting over 10,000 download back in summer 2003.
Get it exclusively at Bignoisemusic.com from 23rd August. Proceeds go to support Oxfam. Muse will donate 60p for every download. The website also offers 350,000 further downloadable tracks with 10p from every £1 spent on the site going to Oxfam. Users can also join 5 million others and pledge their support to Oxfam’s ‘Make Trade Fair Campaign’.
Another full single will follow on 20 Septmeber, with ‘Butterflies And Hurricanes’ the epic standout from their monumental Absolution LP. Available on CD, DVD and 7”, the CD version of single will also feature a brand new concept in interactive audio mixing. u-myx will allow Muse fans to remix ‘Butterflies And Hurricanes’ without needing any specialist music skills or equipment.
