Recommend some slinky, post-The Knife, electronic(a) music
You know, the sort of stuff that has sounds its hewn from sheets of ice cold metallic work surfaces. Music that has space and wide-eyed wonder to it but also feels weirdly insular. The sort of stuff that you can just about throw on at a party but is better suited for headphones and working at your desk.
