I like... stuff. Do you like... stuff?
DISCO DISCO DISCO! When I was a small child I liked the electronic pop music in the charts (PSV, Eurythmics, Kim Wilde) as well as ingeriting my siblings' obsession with Prince. After "discovering" music via the Doors and the Oliver Stone film, I grew up as an alt-rock teen, worshipping pictures of Black Francis and Kurt. I moved to Glasgow in the mid/late nineties, by which time I had moved from indie rock to hip-hop and house. I got bored of them and instead fixated a bit unhealthily on disco music, which is still the best music in the entire history of modern cibilization like EVA. Now I am bored of dance music again, so am back to square 1 listening to the fantastic electro-pop of my youth, and trying to make music that sounds like that but only more NOW. For a living I make music. The day job is part of a band called THE EVIL EYE who specialize in horror soundtracks. We just finished the score for a new US web series called TV Face. I also make and release electronic-disco as TRIPPY DISCO, as well as edit the Discopia website. I run a record label called LITTLE ROCK RECORDS, where we release downloads of music by loads of different acts here in Glasgow. There's too many to mention here but you should check out our myspace for the digested read: www.myspace.com/littlerockrecords
