'My Demise' is an unabashed, bollocks on the block rock out, dangerously remeniscent of old school Therapy? whilst throwing chord changes left, right and centre to keep you on guard. Pair that up with the awesome 'Arsehole', the bastard offspring of Placebo and McLusky with the catchiness of 1977-era Ash and in your hands you hold 4 minutes of the best Essex has to offer.
Brutal live and awesome on record, Engerica are a top all-round package and despite being relatively short, this single is probably the closest thing to perfect I have heard this year.

Engerica - My Demise
Apparently the next single is the 'big' one, i.e. where the record company pours shit loads into promotion and doing a decent video.
Engerica are pretty awesome live

this single is pretty cool ... two songs, four minutes, all good

This a re-recording or the same one that was a b-side for 'Trick Or Treat', then? Bit of a cop-out if it's 'Trick Or Treat' and 'Crooked Sex' are the only things I've really been into, but they tend to make me giggle live, 'cause they're excitable and tend to hurl abuse at audience members.
Even if their singer puts on an American accent they still stick out for being a bit unusual.
