Antihero have got where they are with hard work; perfecting their sound with hours of practicing and playing every toilet venue gig that has been thrown their way, it could all be about to pay off big if this single is anything to go by.

The band’s first release on the Alpha Engineering label sets a whole new set of Antihero rules, miles away from past tracks such as 'You've Got Nothing'. 'Don't Trust The DJ' is three and a half minutes of up-tempo disco style dance beats over funky, fuzzy bass lines, a guitar hook to get your ass shaking and vocals to give a whiff of Antihero-go-Radio 4 about it all.

Given the title, it’s ironic that this is the band’s most radio-friendly track to date. A mouth-watering indicator for their new album, if it’s as good as this, then the potential the band have always shown will be finally fulfilled.
