Sunday Best, the kids behind the Bestival, have announced details of a new-folk compilation, entitled Folk Off, due for release on July 10th.
Ok, so it might seem a bad pun, but Folk Off is indeed a folk-off between The British Isles and North America across two CDs, featuring the likes of Vashti Bunyan, James Yorkston with Reporter, Marissa Nadler, Sufjan Stevens and Tunng amonst others. Compiled by Sunday Best founder Rob Da Bank, the full tracklist runs thusly:
