The Best festival ever? Dour line-up finalised
One doesn't even know quite how to sum this up...
Oh crikey. To live in Belgium. Fuck it, we're all going. Come on, who's coming?
Running from July 13th-16th, the Dour Festival, Belgium encompasses seemingly every genre in the world, inviting the best artists, DJs and performers from each to one 4-day festival, all totalling £50.
I would in fact go as far to say as this is the best alternative festival line-up of all time. Every time I look at the line-up, I find something new. So check it out:

oh my
now that is one ceeeerraazzzzy line up. say what you want about ska, Mad Caddies are fantastic live. Also, Planetary Assault Systems just sounds too awesome for words.
it's basically
going to be incredible. or something like that.
seriously
considering going to this. Organised by the same people who do Primavera I think (which in one week will be on my way to) Very cheap. We get conned in this country.
£50!????!!!!
thats crazy. the uk is so rubbish.
.
Mono, Animal Collective, and Trail Of Dead all on the same stage on the same day :(. I HATE work experience.
Not just them...
Mainland Europeans? Who cares about them?
Even with train travel, it still works out cheaper than reading, the beer is about a pound a pint, and its belgium, so everyone speaks English anyway (feel free to correct me, but I assume that about everywhere these days, since I met a man on a donkey in Jordan who spoke better English than my neighbour).
i only...
signed up cause i got too excited and i wanted to point out some names:
The Congos
Desmond Dekker
Tiken Jah Fakoly
Capleton
Elephant Man
TOK
Buju Banton
Eek-A-Mouse
caius
if i could anyone as my boyfriend, it would be you.
yep
I've already got my passes sorted out for this. It's gonna be amazing! Nada Surf, Mercury Rev, Alias, Animal Collective and Trail of Dead are the ones I'm most looking forward to
I'm going to see if I can sell
my animal collective ticket and go to this!
70 euros!!!!!
Bah, having drunkenly bought a day ticket to leeds that cost nigh on twice that amount, i feel very stupid. thats some lineup!
!
Ditto.
FINGATHING. ace!
FINGATHING... coooool!
cant wait
tickets still haven't come yet though
i've paid for everything flights etc. and its still worked out cheaper than two days at shitty oxegen down the road
