Jet Johnson will make a rare live appearance at The Water Rats on 3rd November, supporting their recently-released album 'Micropolitan'.
'Micropolitan' has been praised throughout the music press, from bedroom-based fanzines right up to national broadsheets, and this gig will give fans the opportunity to see the band before two-thirds of their members, Caroline and Gavin, decamp to Scandinavia (if rumours are to be believed). An email from the band themselves reads as follows:
"We are playing our last gig in London for a while at The Water Rats in Kings Cross on Monday 3rd of November, so it would be nice to see you there. It is £5 to get in. Our album has now been out for nearly a month and has been well received by various press if that means something - we are still rather pleased with the record. If you haven't heard it yet we strongly suggest you buy it now. You can get it online on at www.seriouslygroovy.com or in record shops. See you on the 3rd!"
