Pretty much what it says on the tin...
Following their split in 2003, pop oddities Ooberman have announced their reformation.
The band currently have no plans to play live, but have already recorded an as-yet untitled new album, to be released later this year.
Slated for the Summer, it appears the album will be self-released, with distribution through Cargo.
I'm sure we'll keep you up to date with any future plans, as they are unveiled.

I love everything they've ever done and can't wait for this album/live shows.

people only cared about them cos they'd been on transcopic
i
just listened to shorley wall - and it sound like 'my life story' who were also pretty fuckin shit
Huzzah-berman
I adore this band but alas, am crap at puns.
Have been celebrating by doing the mash-potato for around a day now. My arms hurt.
In case you're wondering, I'm typing this with my toes.
True story.
There was one really good song on their album
that I liked - just thought I'd chuck my tuppence worth YAY in YAY there.
*Crosses fingers*
Hey Petrunko is one of the best albums of the last 10 years, I really hope they know what they're doing by reforming - wouldn't want the history to be tarnished. We'll see.
Anyway, yes. Hey Petrunko = ACES.
I was a big fan...
...so let's hope they don't ruin it this time with:
1) Being too drunk to perform much of the time, which wrecked pretty much all but the first couple of shows I saw (and those couple of shows were great)
2) Getting too carried away on the D&D nonsense that permeated their later work
That's about it really. If they can be as good as they originally were, then good news.
how strange
only yesterday I said to a person, 'remember ooberman? they'd be great now...'
