Bands we like on tour together: Econoline and Projections

Y'know, sometimes good bands play shows to not so many people. That, that makes us sad. Sometimes, fuggin' excellent bands play shows to not so many people. That, that makes us really sad. So, forgive us this plug of sorts for a pair of our favourite bands, who just happen to be hitting that road together very very shortly.
One band is Projections ('We Couldn't Speak' 7" available from Studio Penguin Records) - they rock and are from Brighton - and the other is Econoline (pictured) - they rock and are not from Brighton. One man, called Steve, might be playing in both for the course of the tour 'cause he's JUST THAT HARD. True story. He might also be the same Steve that plays drums so wonderfully in DiS-loved duo Blood Red Shoes. Yep, maybe.
Econoline - yeah, they're named after a truck - have a new record out now through Stupid Cat (aka the label of famed London indie club types Silver Rocket). It's called This Band Isn't Funny Anymore and we closed DiS Radio 9 with a cut from it. It's top. You should buy it from them at one of these shows...

Steve
also still does a lot of the sound engineering at the Freebutt.
Is he now the busiest man in rock?
fair enough
that was just the last i heard from steve, that's all. 1st = better day and better venue..
...
...he is literally everywhere. He is putting Bird Flu's mobility to shame.
oh yeah
I should probably have told Andy the date had changed, well he'll read it on here eventually.
btw "famed" ha ha i like it, thanks Mike, shame it's not true. Actually no it isn't, i don't want to be famous.
I thought
