Bon Jovi narrowly avoid aeroplane demise

Popular-with-your-mum rockers Bon Jovi were this close to being blown to ittybitty pieces on Saturday (21 January), when their private jet skidded off the runway upon landing in Hamilton, Canada.

The band, currently on a tour of Canada and the US to promote their Have A Nice Day album, were left shaken but otherwise unhurt when their Boeing 707 slid from the landing strip under heavy rain.

Fourteen passengers were on board at the time of the incident, none of whom were hurt.

LMAO!

you

are a bad man. this is not a humorous episode.

oh man

SO CLOSE. :(

only because

Mike did not point out that nobody had told the pilot the landing strip may be slippery when wet.

did...

at any point jon Bon Jovi shout "I'm gay!" a la almost famous?

once at silver rocket, a guy got up on stage to announce that john travolta had died in a car crash, and it was a similar feeling as this: if they did croak then (bar family and friends affected) would it matter that much?

There's got to be

a good 'air guitar' pun in here, surely.

well

they nearly went down in a blaze of glory... :-)

terrible pun opportunity

so their jet went off the end of the 'runaway'. maybe they really are 'livin on a prayer'?!

definitely would have needed 'something for the pain' if it had all turned out differently!

i'm disgusting myself with these!!

these days was highly underrated as albums go

word

I'm I

your mum Diver?

holy crap

private 707? i'm starting a stupidly optimistic soft rock band, right now. who wants in?

maybe...

The runway is slippery when wet!

arf...
