It's a Slow Century for Pavement
The DVD from the band that has spawned both the solo version of Stephen Malkmus and Spiral Stairs' current band The Preston School Of Industry is to be called "Slow Century" and will be released at the end of October via Domino.
Filled with collection of old music videos, a 90-minute documentary by director Lance Bangs and two full-length live shows, both viewable from multiple camera angles, the DVD will also feature commentary from Pavement and the music video directors.
A Pavement reunion's on the cards then? prehaps their current bands aren't reaching the same heights as Pavement did? Or is it just time for Domino to throw out a retrospective DVD as so many bands/record companies have been doing over the last year... we'll have all the details here as we get them.
