Nordic Music Prize 2011 shortlist announced

Earlier this week the longlist for the second edition of the Nordic Music Prize was announced, with 50 entries from Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland. Now they've announced the final 12 who will compete for the prize of Best Nordic album, 2011. The candidates are listed below.

Ane Brun – It All Starts With One
Lykke Li – Wounded Rhymes
Rubik – Solar
Gus Gus – Arabian Horse
Malk De Koijn – Toback To The Fromtime
Siinai – Olympic Games
Björk – Biophilia
Iceage – New Brigade
Montée – Renditions Of You
Anna Järvinen – Anna Själv Tredje
Goran Kajfes – X/Y
The Field – Looping State of Mind

Pick a winner from that lot, eh? The prizegiving ceremony will take place in Oslo's Kulturkirken Jakob on Thursday February 16, during by:Larm 2012.
